A sea of candles - Styled Shoot in February

This wedding styling serves as inspiration for all couples who love romance.

Organized by wedding planner Lia Pititto & Photographer Lee Kramer, planning began in the fall of 2022. Lia has come up with something very special for the styling. Not only will real olive trees enchant, but also a sea of candles in the grand banquet hall of the Seehotel in Küsnacht.

For the wedding stationery, I wanted to design something particularly elegant yet understated. Wedding invitations provide a glimpse into the upcoming celebration, building anticipation and setting the tone for the event. They are the first thing that guests receive and keep as a memento.

Wedding stationery

Considering the venue's resemblance to an earlier era and old master paintings, I had to capture this detail in the stationery. For the invitation, I chose a delicately soft, handcrafted paper that brings joy just by holding it. This tactile feeling was enhanced by the floral blind embossing, which also featured in the subtle table decoration by Luuniq.

In addition to the invitation card insert, I created an oval booklet with all the information and details the couple wants to convey to their guests. I prominently featured an illustration of the location on the detail booklet's cover on translucent paper in white print. Below it, an old floral painting for a romantic, playful touch.

Stationery on the day

For the menu cards, I repeated the play with translucent paper and laid it over the beautiful, old floral painting. They were tied with delicate and fine silk ribbons, accompanied by elegantly handwritten name cards for each guest.

Location

The Romantik Seehotel Sonne, Küsnacht is located directly on Lake Zurich and offers a magnificent view.

Dresses + Jewelry Dresses by Galia Lahav, Liz Martinez & Monique Lhuillier from the Zoro boutique and jewelry by Bucherer completed the shoot.

Costs

A styled shoot primarily showcases the creativity of each wedding professional and what the team can achieve together. It serves as inspiration for couples planning their own wedding. The cost of a wedding at the Hotel Sonne, including a wedding planner, photo and videography, flower decorations, and wedding stationery, is approximately CHF 45,000 to CHF 55,000 for 60 guests.
